The gumpi is often a home-made little hut mounted on skis. We are looking for the very first gumpi, and talking to a linguist about the origin of the word. What is the biggest gumpi and how has the snowmobile technology affected the reindeer husbandry? As an architectural typology, these small and compact housing units are exciting and sustainable examples.
